Die
Casting Corporation started in a very modest way in the year 1974,
developing lead seals for security sealing for railways, electric
meters etc.Within a year of time they made a big jump securing voluminous
order form Indian Telephone Industries Ltd .For various type of die
cast parts for telephone instruments and Transmission equipments.
A number of import substitutes were successfully implemented with
equal quality and reliability and drastically reducing cost. To meet
the requirement for ITI, an extended factory facilities at Allahabad
was established to cater the need for ITI,Naini unit.Parallelly they
had entered in purchase contract with Philips, Indian Oxygen, Indian
Railways and Director General of supply and Disposal,Govt.of India.
Over the years they had developed expertise in aluminum and zinc
alloy pressure die casting, complicated sand casting, gravity die
casting and stamping on brass and aluminum.
In their modest tool
room they had produced many complicated tools for sophisticated intricate parts.
